This 1,000 SF retreat near Black Mountain, NC sits on beloved ground. A small cabin built by the Owner’s grandfather stood for decades on the site and held many happy memories of weekend retreats and family gatherings. While the existing home needed to be demolished, the design of the new home incorporated elements from the original and will usher new memories for decades to come.

Constructed by Kaizen Homes, a certified green builder, the home will be Energy Star compliant. Thoughtful and careful planning by the Owner and Builder has produced an efficient and delightful home will be comfortable and easy to operate.
