Business up front and party in the back! The existing home was originally built in 1924. The homeowners wanted a new garage on the front of the house that would complement the style of the original home. In the back, they wanted a contemporary addition for a home office with large windows for daylighting and maximizing backyard views. Additionally, a yoga studio was incorporated into the garage attic with access to a roof deck over the studio space. A dramatic cantilevered trellis roof extends from the rear to cover an outdoor dining terrace.
